Aveda Massage Foundations

This one-day class is to create standards of excellence for massage treatments given in an Aveda Spa.  Massage Therapists should perform a thorough consultation with each guest and customize the massage techniques based on the guest’s needs and the therapist background of modalities.  However, every massage service should include:  Greeting, Consultation, Technical Service, Finishing and Completing the Experience.  The Aveda Spa Rituals covered will include:  Aroma Sensory Journey, Opening Ritual with Breathing Exercise with Aroma, Opening Ritual with Massage Technique, Application of Blue Oil/Active Composition followed by the use of a Hot Towel,  Aromatic Steam towels (feet, face, etc), Foot Ritual with Hot Towel and Massage Techniques, Scalp Ritual with pressure points, and Closing Ritual with Massage Technique.
