Salon staff members are marketing tools, too.
Edwin Neill was recently noted in the June 19, 2009, edition of WWD* for his commitment to inspire salons and their staff to market the products and tools they use—increasing retail sales. His advice to salons is to make stylists more aware of their selling power in helping clients to choose from the various products used during their salon visit. He also noted that as a distributor, it is part of his responsibility to give salons the proper tools to teach their staff the key ideas on successfully selling to their clients.

Offspring Goes Carbon Neutral
Neill Corporation is facing the future and taking a stand against global warming. We have calculated the amount of carbon being emitted for hosting Offspring Miami 2007, including the energy used at the venue during the event and preparing for the event. This value is being offset, or balanced, through our own Building Bridges program in Hainan, China where we are supporting rural mountain villagers to switch to locally sourced, renewable energy systems. These systems are reducing pollution that leads to global warming by preventing emissions and creating clean and safe alternatives for our supply chain partners.
This is only a start, Neill Corporation is committed to creating a path to becoming more carbon conscious and having a positive impact, for ourselves and for all of our supply chain partners. This year, each conference participant will be given the opportunity to calculate their own personal carbon footprint for attending the conference and offset it with Native Energy. |
